CDCNPA
The Centro di Coordinamento Nazionale Pile e Accumulatori CDCNPA (the Italian Clearing House for batteries) was established by Legislative Decree 188/2008 and subsequent amendments, implementing the European Directive 2006/66/EC.
The CDCNPA has the task of:

- Defining the methods for determining and allocating funding for collection, treatment, and recycling operations to be submitted for approval to the Supervision and Control Committee.
Specifically, the CDCNPA provides to:
- Organize and conduct information campaigns for consumers;
- Organize a capillary collection system for all consortium members;
- Ensure monitoring and reporting of data related to the collection and recycling of portable, industrial, and vehicle batteries;
- Guarantee the necessary coordination between Public Administration, collection systems, and other economic operators.
